Thank you!!!

It's been a very enjoyable ride since the day Seat Wars arrived to Kickstarter. Thanks to your trust and support, this game by Andrés Ayala will become a reality with the best production quality we wish to achieve.

A bus box with spot-uv, cards with linen finish, player markers as wooden seat meeples in 5 different colors, cardboard insert with foil print. And you will also receive the Kickstarter exclusive character card and collectible metallic coin. Thank you!

Errored charges

35 backers got errors on their credit cards. This is expected to happen on all campaigns and Kickstarter allows 7 days to fix this. Please make sure you have funds on your card, log in your Kickstarter account from your browser, and click on "fix payment" (button on the top red banner). 

1) You can retry during work hours with the same card.
2) You can use another credit or debit card.

If the above doesn't work, please contact us so we can arrange payment via PayPal, wire transfer or after completing your BackerKit Survey.

BackerKit Surveys

Our pledge manager is already set up and we are just waiting for review and approval from our success manager at BackerKit. Surveys will most likely be sent next week.

What is BackerKit?
It is our preferred platform to keep neatly organized al the info from our backers. You will receive an email with a survey where you will let us know about your mailing address and other details we need to send you your rewards after production is finished.

Additional items
If you added extra funds for the mini expansion and additional copies of the game or you changed your mind and want to get them, you will be able to do so on your BackerKit survey.

Spanish cards & rules
The mass production for the game will be held in English because we have distribution plans for North America and other countries. However, the support from our fellow Mexican friends have been above and beyond our expectations, so in a gesture of gratitude, we will held a small production for cards and rulebooks in Spanish. We can't produce them for free but we will subsidize part of it and you will be able to get them for a very low cost.

Design a card Pledges
If you are a backer pledging on this reward tier, you will be able to write your idea on your BackerKit survey or ask to have a Skype call to work on the details. We will send you an e-mail to ask for your picture so Andrés can start working on the art for the character with your likeness.

Shipping with tracking number
For backers within Mexico, United States, Canada, UK and EU, our fulfillment partners will send the packages with tracking info. For other countries packages will ship without it, if you need tracking number for your country, you let us know about it on BackerKit.

We will keep you posted about the progress for Seat Wars via project updates so you can be part of the whole process and experience once again the satisfaction of bringing creative projects to life with Kickstarter.

Final hours on Kickstarter

Hello passengers,

We are about to reach our destination in a few hours. You have helped us unlock a very cool Stretch Goal: The cardboard markers will become wooden markers with the custom shape of the seats.

If we reach $140,000 MX (US $7,000), the play board will have linen finish too. Please help us spread the word about Seat Wars.

The social goal for 60 followers on Kickstarter has been unlocked too, so here's the alternate art for one of the characters:

Christmas Present!

Merry Christmas dear passengers!!

May the joy of this season be with you and your beloved ones. This time of the year is magical because of all the big or small actions whose purpose is to manifest the love and goodwill among ourselves. It's not about the gifts or the giving but about the people and everyone's happiness...

...but still, we all love gifts and here's our Christmas Present for you, our backers:

 After re-designing the box to make it look like the bus, we talked to our manufacturer and since the cost for the box dropped, we can consider now to make it even more attractive with the spot-uv to make the characters stand out from the background and include a printed insert (with metallic ink) so it looks like the floor that busses have. 

Next Stretch Goal: 

For the next Stretch goal we will be able to replace the cardboard markers for custom wooden pieces. We are still working on the 5 colors that will make the cut.

Christmas Pledge!

We are on the final week for this crowdfunding campaign, the first of many yet to come. Join the spirit of Christmas and make a present for someone else! If you have a nieces and nephews yet to be introduced to the hobby, a cousin who collects games with original boxes or a friend who loves Kickstarter games, you can pledge for an extra game for a few bucks more. 

 Alternatively, you could switch your pledge and let us give away the second game to a mystery customer in our board game cafe during Christmas 2019 or to your Secret Santa for next year's gift exchange.

To switch your reward tier follow these steps:

 By selecting this reward tier you will help us unlock the last Stretch Goal and will receive a second copy for just a fraction of the actual cost! You could sell the second copy or use it to make a present for someone else.

New Box Design

Hello Passengers!

We are very excited to present you the new look for the box of Seat Wars:

 The box will be able to hold all the components, including the folded game board (which represents the inside of the bus). Now we want more than ever to reach that Stretch Goal to have the cardboard insert with foil print (to represent the floor of the bus) which will be able to hold sleeved cards and the player markers.

Hello passengers!

We have just reached the first Stretch Goal! The majority of you voted for Linen Finish cards and Cardboard Markers as the first Stretch Goals. Here's the current status:

You also unlocked the first Social Goal, 250 likes on Facebook.

We also want to welcome the new passengers and let them know about what we are working on right now the bus box. (We are redesigning the box to make it look like the bus). Also, remember that you can send us a message to ask for a personal link, share it and if a backer pledges for the game while using your link, you will receive the Kickstarter mini expansion for free. (We can track the origin of the pledges on the Kickstarter dashboard from our end)
