Hi, please take your seat! We’re very excited! After 3 years of hard work, our next game is ready to hit your table: A meteorite fell on Dodino island, so it’s time to run to become the new ruler of Dodino Island!
Dodos riding Dinos is a racing dexterity game inspired by Mario Kart. The art and characters are stunning!
Detestable Games wouldn’t have been successful in the past without your help, so returning backers in Dodos riding Dinos will receive the Kux & Babbey miniature as a free gift. Also Day-1 backers get the Print-and-Play + STL files free with your pledge.
We're counting on you for this new dream to expand the game content as much as possible with stretch goals. You already know that our commitment with you is huge. Finally, you must know that Dodos riding Dinos is part of the Creature Kingdoms universe. So you will be able to merge components with other games for a future Conquest game experience. We are also working on a family RPG where you will be able to use your miniatures in a future.

Dear backers,
It has taken a long time since our last update. As we already told you, your contribution in our community has been fundamental for our Board Game project. Due to our next campaign will be another board game: Dodos riding Dinos, we decided asking Kickstarter for a change in the profile name: Detestable Games instead Caravana Gamelab. Our "The Test Table Games" brand published our other games. We think this change will improve our communication.

Dodos riding Dinos (designed by Rub HS) is a hand management and dexterity game inspired by Mario Kart. The fastest Dodo Dino couple will be saved from the meteorite that will crush the island. DrD was voted as the best game in Roll a Game Expo 2019, the most important board game convention in Mexico. The game is a collaboration between Detestable Games and Draco Studios. The art is provided by Gnomosapiens and the amazing 3D sculptures by Marchen Atellier.

Ha pasado un tiempo desde la última actualización de este proyecto. Como ya les hemos dicho, su participación en nuestra comunidad ha sido clave para nuestro proyecto de juegos de mesa. Debido a nuestra próxima campaña será el juego de mesa Dodos riding Dinos, decidimos solicitar a Kickstarter un cambio de nombre en nuestro perfil a Detestable Games, que es la marca que hemos utilizado para publicar los juegos anteriores. Consideramos que con este cambio nuestra comunicación será más clara y transparente con ustedes.

¿De qué va Dodos riding Dinos? Es un juego de cartas y destreza creado por Rubén Hernández inspirado por Mario Kart. El juego es una carrera en la que la pareja Dodo-Dino más veloz podrá salvarse del meteorito que destruirá su isla. Este juego es una colaboración entre Detestable Games y Draco Studios, con arte de Gnomosapiens y miniaturas 3D creadas por Marchen Atellier. Además Dodos riding Dinos fue ganador de la Quetzalera 2019, al ser elegido por el público como el mejor juego de Roll a Game 2019, la convención de creación y diseño de juegos más importante de México.

Just a quick update to share with backers in México that this weekend, starting tomorrow, Andrés Ayala, designer of Seat Wars, will be present at Mexico Game Experience in Expo Reforma (Mexico City) Booth 204 Detestable Games with demos of the game, and extra copies available (tell your friends they can buy the game there!).
We hope to see you there and would love to chat, play and geek out!

Hello passengers!
This past weekend, Seat Wars was present at Roll A Game Expo
The team behind Seat Wars and Cooks & Crooks. Rightmost: Andres Ayala, author of Seat Wars.
The game was a big success, so much that Seat Wars ended in 2nd place for the Quetzaladder Award in the category Best Game of the Expo, voted by the public.
8 finalists from the 20+ games presented at the expo.
According to the public who assisted, the game that is now in your hands is one of the best games in Mexico!
"I still don't have the game in my hands... what's up with fulfillment"
Now that the expo has passed we have a bit more clear agenda to keep compiling issues with fulfillment. As most campaigns, fulfillment usually doesn't go smooth for all backers. Be assured that we will try our best to compensate for your support, getting you your rewards or damaged components replaced.
Here's the status:
Canada: Canada Post informed customers that holiday deliveries will be delayed this year due to its rotating strikes and Black Friday and Cyber Monday backlogs. We will have to wait to get some news on how to proceed.
UK and some other countries from the EU: Due to comments and queue on Gamesquest as well as recommendation from our fulfillment partner in Asia, we sent the games to your address directly from China. Most of you got it without issues, some of you got a tax bill. If you have and want a refund, please send it to [email protected]Refunds will proceed on January.If you have no issues absorbing the tax bill, we greatly appreciate it since the currency exchange increase is making us put money from our pockets to cover fulfillment.
All countries except for Mexico: Our fulfillment partner in Asia send the tracking info after packages were sent. Many backers have received their games already without tracking. Keep an eye open and let us know when you receive your rewards.
Mexico (Guadalajara): La mayoría de nuestros patrocinadores tapatíos ya recibieron su copia de manera personal por Andrés Ayala, en la feria o en La Caravana. Si no es así, te invitamos a asistir a La Caravana con una identificación y te haremos entrega de tus recompensas.
Mexico (CDMX): Los juegos base de Seat Wars ya están en La Caravana. Sin embargo, aún estamos por recibir la mini expansión y la carta exclusiva de Kickstarter con la moneda. Pueden pasar a recoger su copia a La Caravana CDMX y posteriormente el contenido extra o pueden esperar aproximadamente una semana o hasta después de las festividades para recoger todo. Favor de presentarse con una identificación oficial.
México (otros estados): Hoy se enviarán sus recompensas y guías con la información. Esperando que puedan recibirlo antes de Navidad o como regalo de Navidad.
